60 Buildings In Pegangsaan Dua Torn Down

Satpol PP personnel tore down 60 buildings stood atop Cakung Lama Riverbank, Pegangsaan Dua Urban Village, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, Thursday (4/23).

As known, Cakung Lama River as long as 5 kilometers passes four urban villages and three sub-districts, but now it only leaves 2-3 meters.
Buang explained, such buildings were built on the riverbank as long as 500 meters, precisely at RT 01-07/03.
“The building owners won’t be given compensation due to their buildings stood atop land belongs to city administration,” he finished.
